    PODIATRISTS, also known as DOCTORS OF PODIATRIC MEDICINE, are medical specialists concerned with the diagnosis and treatment of disorders and diseases affecting the foot, ankle, and the lower leg such as foot deformities, ankle and foot injuries, infections, ingrown toenails, and bunions.
